KIMULI is a washed lot processed at the Bulambuli Washing Station in the Bulambuli District. In Luganda, Kimuli means “flower,” a fitting name for the elegant and expressive profile typical of washed coffees from this region. Expect remarkable red fruit notes and a bright, refined cup.
The processing methods further shape their distinct profiles. Washed coffees are typically pulped, fermented, and dried on site. For naturals, cherries go through a careful selection process upon delivery to the washing station before being transferred to drying tables, where they ferment and dry slowly in the fruit.
